In the rural heart of Sierra Leone, access to medical care is not guaranteed. For many people, the Lion Heart Medical Center (LHMC) serves as an essential source of care and support. However, long distances and poor roads often make it difficult to reach the hospital in time. When patients do arrive, they are often critically ill and in need of urgent care. To provide the best possible treatment, we need better equipment and resources. Your support can make a real difference!
With this crowdfunding campaign, LHMC aims to:
- Improve patient monitoring with essential equipment.
- Train local staff in Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS) to ensure better handling of critical cases
- Create a dedicated space for treating critically ill patients.
- Equip our ambulances with more supplies to ensure safe patient transport.
