Last month, all medical staff received a two-day refresher ETAT training. In this WHO training in “Emergency Triage Assessment And Treatment” staff learn how to recognize and treat critically ill children. For all three groups, the training started with a pre-test, followed by theoretical and practical training sessions. Doctors and pediatric officers shared their knowledge and experiences regarding emergency situations, like a blocked airway. This training climaxed with an examination and the awarding of certificates.
