In March, our midwife Bintu Yallah (pictured right) was voted Employee of the Month by the management team. Bintu has been working with us in the maternity ward since the beginning of 2019. First as a second obstetrician and when the chief obstetrician resigned a short time later, Bintu took over. For two years she ran the maternity ward on her own, without the management having much to do with it. And she also has young children of her own. Bintu now has another colleague to fall back on, but it is high time that our good and reliable chief obstetrician received the recognition she deserves!
