Last month, the head of our children's department Abibatu was honored as employee of the month. Since she completed the government training as a nutrition specialist last autumn, she has set up a malnutrition department in our hospital. Specialist care for malnourished and often seriously ill children is organized here.
Under the guidance of Abibatu, all protocols are carefully followed and each patient receives his or her special nutrition on time. Our district malnutrition team who honored our hospital with a surprise visit last month were impressed because it is so well organised. Abibatu deserves all the credit for this, which is why she was the appropriate candidate to put in the spotlight.
