In Sierra Leone, some names are very popular. In the hospital we have more than one Beatrice, Josephine, Ali and let's not even start about Mohamed. Yet with the arrival of our new lab technician we have a unique experience. His name is John Koroma, just like our lab manager! The two John Koromas are in the photo together, with the new employee on the right - although he is now completely at home in our hospital and in Yele.
In addition, three new cleaners have taken up the challenge, all three born and raised in Yele. Hawa works in the maternity ward, Mohamed in the men's ward and the children's ward and Alfred in the outpatient building and the operating room. Alfred is actually not a new face, he has years of experience at LHMC, always without complaints, always with a smile. We are very happy that he is back!
