Our cooperation with the government has been strengthened after visits from dignitaries. Our management was able to explain to them the importance of Lion Heart Medical Center and what kind of help we need from the government. We are very pleased to welcome a new surgical officer and six new nurses. These employees receive their salary from the government and help strengthen our team. The surgical officer in particular fills the gap left by the departure of our previous surgical officer, Mohamed Bangura. We now have a full team in the operating room again and extra hands on the wards. They will all be introduced on our social media in the coming weeks. The photo shows Sara (left) and Jenney, nurses on the pediatric ward and triage respectively.
