Since the start of the first cycle of outreach, the Lion Heart Medical Center team has already visited 17 health posts in the rural hinterland of the hospital. On Friday mornings, the employees of the health centers and people from the community are given explanations about dental health and the health of the youngest (and most vulnerable) children. Sick patients are offered free transport to the hospital and thanks to last year's Dental Campaign we can offer dental treatment at a greatly reduced rate for patients with toothache. The first outreach cycle will end on June 11. After a break due to the rainy season, we hope to continue in August with the second cycle of 2021, which will focus more on education about obstetrics and childbirth.
