February also marked the beginning of a new cycle of community outreach. Every Friday in the coming months, two members of our outreach team will travel to a health clinic (PHU) in our region. Beforehand, we again invited employees from all 21 clinics for a PHU Training Day. The topics for this cycle are Diabetes and Malnutrition (SAM), but the day also covered other important topics such as referral to hospital, infection in newborn babies and premature rupture of membranes. We thank all participants and organizers for a successful day!
