November was dominated by training the employees in the care of the acutely ill patient. For example, a simulation and scenario training was organized to practice with pregnancy complications, in which one of the nurses was driven into the hospital as “pregnant” in the ambulance. The team of the obstetrics department was then allowed to get to work with the reception and treatment. Practicing with these types of scenarios gives employees the opportunity to gain experience with these rare but very important situations and they are better prepared when a "real" patient is on the doorstep.
