Christmas and New Years are always a special time. The LHMC staffers decorated the hospital and provided free food for patients, caretakers and the staff on duty during Christmas. Normally, we also organize the End-of-the-Year-Gathering for all staffers to look back on the past year, celebrate our achievements and look ahead to the future. Due to financial constraints, the event was almost cancelled, but through our new supporting network, Friends of LHMC, we found a few generous donors that wanted to make this party possible. After a friendly football match (clinicians vs non-clinicians), like always, the evening was full of speeches, good food, dancing, and all staffers received their end-of-the-year gift: a polo featuring the new logo, as seen in the pictures!
