LHMC received a beautiful donation from Madam Kadiatu Kanu, an indigene of the Gbonkolenken Chiefdom, where the hospital resides. The donor could not donate the items in person as she stays outside of Sierra Leone, but she sent the donated items through a relative. She donated two wheelchairs and five walkers in different colours. LHMC appreciates the act of kindness exhibited by the donor and assures that the items will be used for their intended purposes.
